Day 1 Jan 09, 2027 - Puerto Caldera (Puntarenas)
From Costa Rica's central coastal city of Puerto Caldera visitors can explore the mountainous countryside and travel inland to the cosmopolitan capital of San Jose.
Day 2 Jan 10, 2027 - Tortuga Island (Curu)
Tortuga, a dream island and a little paradise in the Pacific Ocean, has something for everyone. More than just a beach, white sands and sun, Tortuga also offers luxuriant flora, fauna and adventure. Tortuga Island is a reflection today of more than twenty years of hard work by a Costa Rican family in the field of conservation and sustainable development. Over the last two years the island has seen changes that allow visitors to enjoy its natural beauty to the fullest.
Day 3 Jan 11, 2027 - Quepos
Microclimates characterize Costa Rica, but in a nation of verdant rain forest, the region around Quepos, on Coronado Bay is one of the richest and most bio-diverse places on earth. Its unspoiled natural beauty has secretly drawn visitors for decades and a cottage tourism industry has arisen to accommodate city-dwellers seeking a glimpse of the planet's vanishing wilds. Try to visit the Mangroves, rainforest and Manuel Antonio National Park where you can se howler monkeys, two and three toed sloths, crocodiles and iguanas.
Day 4 Jan 12, 2027 - Golfito
Surrounded by steep hills and tropical rain forest, the chamring town of Golfito has a sheltered position on the Golfo Dulce on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. From here you can explore the Corcovado National Park, the black sand beach at Zancudo, and other Costa Rican wonders. The town was founded in the 1930's as a banana port.
Day 5 Jan 13, 2027 - Gulf of Chiriqui
Day 6 Jan 14, 2027 - Isla Iguana
With the only white-sand beach on the Azuero Peninsula, Isla Iguana is the peninsula's top natural attraction. The island is covered with coconut palms and other tropical vegetation and has two beaches: immaculate Playa El Cirial, and the tiny Playita del Faro, on the other side of the island. Moreover, the largest coral reef in the Gulf of Panama surrounds Isla Iguana allowing for excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities. Visitors can also hike the length of the island and see many sea birds and huge iguanas after which the island is named.
Day 7 Jan 15, 2027 - Isla San Jose
The Islands in the sea of Cortez, Mexico, are among the most beautiful and captivating regions in the world. The remote island of San Jose offers spectacular coastal scenery, fine camping beaches, and an opportunity to really escape from the crowds. You will discover some incredible snorkeling and kayaking sites where the sea is teeming with tropical fish.
Day 8 Jan 16, 2027 - Balboa
Balboa, sited at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal was founded in 1914 and named after Vasco Núñez de Balboa, European discoverer of the Pacific. Balboa is noted for its orchid gardens, with more than 400 varieties. It is separated from Panama City by Ancón Hill.
